Designed for large scale commercial meat processing operations, this Skyfood heavy duty bandsaw (model SI-315HDE-1) has a powerful 3-horsepower motor that can handle a huge volume of all kinds of meat and bone. Entirely built of stainless steel this rugged heavyweight (407 pounds!) will produce efficient rendering results for years to come and includes a thickness gauge plate and a sliding feed table, standard. This one-phase bandsaw uses a standard 124" x.75" bandsaw blade. The upper and lower doors are removable, as are the blade wheels, the blade guard and the tables (sliding and stationary), all of which aid in cleaning and maintenance. The large lower scrap pan, which catches bone dust generated by the bandsaw, is also easily removable. This SI-315HDE-1 bandsaw has a number of standard safety features: there is an easily-recognizable and easily-reached emergency "Stop" button, and opening either the upper or lower doors of the saw will cut power immediately. Removing the column blade guard will also stop the machine, and if the machine has stopped due to an unexpected power outage, an electric control safety breaker prevents the bandsaw from restarting automatically should the power come back on.
