Ingredients:
- 3-4 medium zucchinis
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
Preparation (15 minutes): Wash the zucchinis and slice them into thin rounds, about 1/8 inch thick. The thinner the slices, the crispier the chips will be.
Seasoning (5 minutes): In a large bowl, mix the zucchini slices with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, and a dash of salt and pepper. Toss until the slices are evenly coated.
Dehydrating (8-10 hours): Place the seasoned zucchini slices on the dehydrator trays in a single layer, ensuring they do not overlap. Set your dehydrator to 135°F (57°C). Dehydrate for 8 to 10 hours, checking occasionally until the chips are crispy.
Cooling and Storage (30 minutes): After dehydration, allow the chips to cool to room temperature. They will continue to crisp up as they cool. Store in an airtight container.
