Homemade Italian Meatballs

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 pound ground pork
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs

Instructions for Recipe:

Preparation (15 minutes): If you're grinding your own meat, cut the beef and pork into chunks suitable for your meat grinder. Use a medium hole plate to grind the meat.

Mixing (10 minutes): In a large bowl, combine the ground beef and pork with breadcrumbs, Parmesan, garlic, egg, parsley, salt, and pepper. Mix until just combined, being careful not to overmix.

Forming Meatballs (15 minutes): Roll the mixture into golf ball-sized meatballs.

Cooking (20 minutes): In a large skillet, brown the meatballs on all sides. Then, simmer them in marinara sauce for about 15 minutes until cooked through.
