After you feed the steak into the hopper, hundreds of the machine's tenderizing blades go to work processing work that used to be done by a kitchen worker wielding a meat hammer. This rugged, gear-driven, tabletop commercial tenderizer has a powerful 3/4 horsepower motor, perfect for middle to large-volume restaurants and food service establishments. This tenderizer is an excellent choice for busy steakhouses (it's recommended that you use this machine with Beef steaks only) and will tenderize approximately 1100 pounds of steak per hour. The hopper opening is 7.75" x.75" and the blades of the tenderizer blades can be removed, cleaned or replaced. If you need to cut meat strips in order to prepare stir fry or fajita dishes, special strip-cutter blades are available for separate purchase.
