To ensure hassle free delivery, follow 3 easy steps:
STEP 1: SCHEDULE
Delivery appointment may be required, especially if your order is being delivered to a residential home or home based business. Commercial businesses open during normal business hours (9-5p) may not require a delivery appointment. We recommend contacting the trucking company with your tracking number from your shipping confirmation to verify if appointment is required.
STEP 2: INSPECT
You are responsible for inspecting shipment for missing or damaged items. DO NOT SIGN the delivery receipt until after you inspect. Examples of damage are: punctures in wrapping or carton, or clearly visible product damage. If you notice damage, you must take clear photographs of packaging, damage and note the delivery receipt of specific damages or refuse the shipment (must notate delivery receipt as refused with explanation of refusal) *Do not let drivers rush you, they cannot leave until you sign the delivery receipt. Carriers can wait ~10-15 minutes.
STEP 3: SIGN
Once the shipment is inspected and documented for any damages or missing items. You should sign your name to the delivery receipt. Retain a copy of the delivery receipt for your records.
If your order was damaged, keep all packaging materials and contact us with 1 business days with a copy of the delivery receipt, photographs and other documentation. We will work with you to find a resolution. If you do not note damages on the delivery receipt, we cannot guarantee any compensation. Once your name is signed to the delivery receipt, you are accepting the package in good acceptable condition. View the full policy here.
Accessorials & Residential Disclaimer:
We work directly with our freight (semi) carriers to negotiate the best rates possible and deliver oversized items in a professional and timely manner. Freight rates online are estimates and do not include any upgraded services such as, lift-gate options, limited access locations, residential or rural locations, white glove delivery, inside delivery or expedited shipping. Customers may be contacted if these fees need to be collected prior to your order shipping. View the full policy here.
A lift gate, commonly referred to as a "tommy gate", is a motorized gate on the back of a trailer or box truck. The gate assists with lowering your product to the ground off of the truck. Used in deliveries where a loading dock or forklift is not present.
We DO NOT ship damaged goods, many freight or oversized shipments are photographed before they leave our fulfillment centers. If your freight or oversized product was damaged during delivery, you are required to take clear photographs and you must note delivery receipt of any and all damages. If you sign the delivery receipt without notating any damages, you are releasing the trucking company from the liability of the damaged shipment. We ask you to refuse delivery if you can, however in some cases you are unable to refuse delivery, contact us within 1 business day of occurrence with detailed documentation listed above so we can make the situation right.
