These VacMaster vacuum-sealer bags (model 947200) measure 6 inches by ten inches and are designed for external (that is, non-chamber) type vacuum sealers. The mesh construction of these tough bags ensures a proper seal; as is well known, vacuum-sealing can preserve the useable shelf life of food products for up to five times the regular shelf life of other food storage methods. 3 millimeters thick, these are pint-sized vacuum bags and are ideal for the storage of meat cuts, dry foods, cheeses and vegetables. These bags are great for sous vide cooking and can be boiled or, when necessary, re-used. Construction is 80% polyethylene/ 20% nylon.
