This compact stainless steel electric griddle from Adcraft (model Grid-16) is a great appliance for specialized uses. It's an ideal, secondary unit for back-up, or as a dedicated griddle for specific food service tasks. The working griddle surface area is 15.5" by 16" and the griddle's three-inch high backsplash and side walls keep any grease spatters localized. A green indicator light tells you when the power is on and there's an orange temperature-indicator light to warn you when the griddle surface is hot. The griddle surface area, by the way, gets very hot the adjustable temperature range for the griddle is 120 degree-570 degree F.
