This variety of Weston vacuum sealer bags (model 30-0008-K) measures 8 inches by a whopping 50 feet it's the "bag on a roll" customizable style of bag. If you need bags of varying lengths this is the product for you; cutting bags to order reduces waste. Vacuum sealing has been scientifically proven to extend usable shelf life by as much as five times while at the same time eliminating food waste caused by freezer burn. Ideal for the storage of smaller meat cuts, these 3.0 mil thick, 2-ply bags are specially designed for use with Weston's excellent Pro Series vacuum sealers but also work well with most other brands of vacuum sealer. Foods sealed in these bags can be reheated up to water's boiling point while still in the bag; similarly they can be microwaved (remember to always puncture the bag before putting it in the microwave. Note: this bag-on-a-roll product is the same as Weston's item 30-0008-W - with the exception that this product ships in a plastic bag, not a box. If given as a gift, 30-0101-W is a better choice because it ships in a nice box it is however slightly more expensive because of this box.
