The one and a half horsepower motor is air-cooled and permanently lubricated; this powerful grinder practically devours the meat fed into its oversized hopper (15"W x 10"L x 2.5"H) and can grind up to 14 pounds per minute. The unique (patent-pending) head design also promotes high-speeds and efficient production. The Pro Series #22 is gear driven and the gears are metal, promoting optimal, quiet grinding; one of the safety features is that the unit has a circuit breaker, along with sturdy rubber non-slip feet, ensuring a steady and stable work base.
