Product Description

Features a stainless steel meat table, powered by a 1.5 HP motor and a 116" blade. ETL certified, operates at 115V with a 5-15P plug.

A rugged 1.5-horsepower motor powers the 116" blade on this superb North-American-made bandsaw from Pro-Cut (model Ksp-116. This floor model saw stands 71 inches high and is E.T.L.-certified; it runs on 115V/60Hz power. The body housing is painted steel while the head is heavy gauge aluminum; the meat table is premium stainless steel. The motor drives the (easily available, standard 3-teeth-per-inch) 116-inch blade at a rate of 52 F.P.S. (or feet per second); dimensions of the cutting clearance are 13.8"W x 17". Note: this saw is very similar to Pro-Cut's Ks-116 bandsaw, except that it has steel and aluminum components rather than an all-stainless-steel construction; it also lacks some safety interlock guards (circuits that cut the power when, for example, the door to the motor is ajar. A superb commercial bandsaw, it's a simple task to disassemble, without tools, this unit for cleaning and maintenance. E.T.L.-approved with a Nema 5-15P plug.
