Standing 71" tall, this professional floor bandsaw from Pro-Cut (model KS-116) is a powerful meat-cutter that runs on standard current (115V/60Hz). The 1.5 HP motor has a belt-drive transmission that runs a standard, easily-available 116-inch saw blade. The bandsaw blade's velocity is 52 feet per second; cutting clearance height is 17". Safety features include an adjustable band saw guard and safety interlock switches on the appliance doors and on the meat table (these switches cut the power when doors are open or the table is not aligned correctly); there's also an emergency "stop" switch for immediate shut-down of the saw. This all-stainless-steel bandsaw is hose-down-washable and the components of the unit can be easily take apart, no tools needed. ETL certified with a Nema plug type 5-15P.
