This superb walk-in freezer from Nor-Lake (model kodf77812-c) is designed for outdoor use and has a number of features that adapt it for the rigors of foodservice use in the great out-of-doors. In the weather protection kit of all there's a tough white membrane material that is installed on the inside ceiling of the unit (no special tools required, and there's no gluing or seaming of the material), along with metal flashing for securing the membrane to the inner wall panels. There are also ambient controls that allow the freezer to function in environments of -20 degree F. Eight feet wide by twelve feet deep (and with a height of 7 feet, 7 inches) the panels of the walk-in are constructed of steel, 26 gauge, embossed and coated; this walk in has a smooth aluminum floor. All Kold-Locker walk-ins have self-closing doors to keep the cold in; and insulation for the walkin is provided by 4"-deep foamed-in-place HFC-245fa insulation (polyurethane, C.F.C.- & H.C.F.C.-free. This superb outdoor-use freezer has a ceiling-mounted Capsule-Pak freezing unit; this unit, mounted as it is on the outside of the walk-in, permits use of 100% of the interior space for storage. The door has a deadbolt locking handle.
