MHP Grills
MHP short for Modern Home Products was a company founded by Walter Koziol in the 1950's and originally sold gas-powered decorative outdoor lighting. As the years passed, Mr. Koziol found other ways to work with gas to create outdoor products, and in short order he created an outdoor gas grill that sets the standard for excellence today. Ceaselessly re-engineering the basic models of the day, Mr. Koziol originally worked on variations of the round steel grill popular at the time (and still popular today), but in 1963 he introduced what has become the industry standard: the rectangular grill with a hinged door/lid. This better, more efficient rectangular grill is the most popular design in grills today and for the foreseeable future. MHP has developed a number of ground-breaking innovations in grill technology, including SearMagic© warming racks and cooking grids, MHP's patented "H" style burner, a top-of-the-line no-rust grill exterior, the exclusive GASLOW gas fuel indicator and GASLOW leak detector the list goes on. Liquefied Petroleum or Natural Gas, these grills are the top of the line, the gold standard for outdoor grilling.
