This motor generates 1750 revolutions per minute (the effective rpm for the worm is 150. The large tray (stainless steel) also facilitates meat processing in large quantities. The grinder housing is anodized aluminum; the opening to the grinder throat has a diameter of 1-5/8". Included with purchase: two grinder plates (3mm, 5mm) and a chopper knife. An excellent grinder for mid-volume butcher stores and busy restaurants, this professional grinder is easy to maintain and disassembles for quick cleaning.
