Omcan (Fma) 2 HP European Heavy Duty Hard Cheese Grater, Model 19921

Hard cheese graters are fairly simple machines, but generally they have to be powerful, because they have to process tough, hard-consistency cheeses. This hard cheese grater from Omcan (model 19921) has a two-horsepower motor and does its grating and shredding at 2400 rpm, which is suitable for medium-volume applications in hotels, restaurants or banquet houses. The grinding drum of this grater is stainless steel and comes out easily for inspection, cleaning and maintenance. Chunks of hard cheese go in the mouth at the top of the machine and finished, grated cheese is deposited into the transparent plexiglass hopper, included with the machine. Excellent for the processing of hard cheese, this machine is also great for turning stale bread into bread crumbs. Note: this hard cheese grater has a brake motor; for the same machine with a regular motor, see model 11407. Made in Italy, this machine is not suitable for processing any type of soft cheese.
