Solid and durable, the rust-proof cast aluminum construction of the grill provides a stable and reliable cooking platform. The gas fire ignites thanks to the included electronic ignition system; the fire heats the grill's porcelain briquettes via the stainless steel H-burners (the burners are so-called because, you guessed it, they're H-shaped. The end result is a clean, even, perfect-grilling heat. Total heat output is 30,000 B.T.U.s in an overall cooking area of 495 square inches. The cooking grid is stainless steel, composed of 5/16-inch rods, tightly spaced so smaller items won't fall through the cracks.
