The 24 smoke bisquettes contained in this package from Bradley Smoker (model Btch24) are made of compressed cherrywood, and these compact fuel "pucks" are designed to be used in automated smokers made by Bradley but they also happen to work great in most other brands of food smoker, and will even make delicious savory smoke when used in your backyard grill. The full, dense smoke produced by a cherrywood bisquette is sweet, as you would expect since the wood comes from a fruit tree, and is suited for smoking the majority of foods, but especially for chicken, cheese & beef jerky. (The cherry smoke gives an attractive pink tinge to jerky that's very visually appealing it tastes good, too. Each of these Bradley cherrywood bisquettes will produce 20 minutes of consistent, full-bodied smoke.
