This "Mega-Top" food prep station from Arctic Air (model Amt48R) has, like all Arctic Air products, been rigorously tested to stringent N.S.F.-7 standards and is a superb value. Ideal for any hard-working food service establishment, it comes complete with sixteen 1/6-sized plastic ingredient pans. This superb workstation has high-grade stainless steel sides and front; on top there's a full-length cutting board along with the pan rail area. With 12 cubic feet of food storage capacity (there's two adjustable epoxy coated shelves), the interior cabinet has a floor of stainless steel with coved corners for ease in cleaning; the cabinet walls are A.B.S. aluminum liner, painted bright white. The unit's compressor is bottom-mounted and sits on a slide out rack that is accessible from the front of the workstation; chilled air circulates throughout the cabinet via high output, energy efficient fans and you can monitor the interior's temperature via the external electronic display and digital thermostat. Of the four casters, two are locking, standard equipment with all models. Finally, the cabinet doors self-close and the handles are recessed (that is to say, they won't snag your clothing) and the cabinet doors have magnetic gaskets around the door frame so the door stays cold and cold air stays in.
