Alfa #12 Complete Grater/Shredder Attachment w/ 3/16" Disc, Model# GS-12

This outstanding grater/shredder from Alfa International (model GS-12) is a heavy duty power attachment that is designed to be powered by a #12 standard Hobart style power hub. (Such power hubs are featured on motors sold as "power bases" and on commercial mixers and meat grinders. Some kitchen machines that have this power hub feature are Alfa, Hobart, Globe, Thunderbird, Varimixer, Univex and Berkel.) N.S.F.-approved, the GS-12 housing and door are constructed of heavy-gauge aluminum, buffed to a fine polish while the hardware components are stainless steel. The GS-12 comes complete with a 3/16" grater/shredder plate so you can start processing as soon as it's out of the box. The hopper is dubbed a "pelican head" for its unique shape; it fits on a door that easily swings open for easy changing of the shredder disks; the door latches tightly closed during normal operation. A pusher plate rotates to press down the product into the spinning shredder disk, keeping the user's hand safely distant from the actual shredding and grating.
