This rugged fajita meat shredder (model Fc-12) from Alfa International is a power attachment that works when fitted on a standard-size Hobart style #12 power hub such as is found on commercial mixers and power drives. (Examples of machines that feature this power hub are Hobart, Alfa, Globe, Berkel, Varimixer, Thunderbird and Univex.) Rotating "corn-cobs" studded with 32 razor-sharp blades grind against one another and quickly slice and shred meat fed into the hopper. Designed for busy restaurants, cafeterias and other food establishments, this power attachment a real time-saver in the kitchen and is constructed of heavy-duty durable cast aluminum and stainless steel. The hopper opening measures 7.5" x 1".
