This stainless steel slicer blade from Alfa International (model 1612 ss) fits Hobart meat-slicer models 1912, 1812, 1712R, 1712EC, 1712E, 1712, 1612EC, 1612E and 1612 slicers. Manufactured by the German firm G&B this slicer blade is made of the finest stainless steel steel that has been heat-treated in a patented flame-hardening process. The end result of this innovative manufacturing process is the best performing, longest lasting slicer blade sold today. This aftermarket slicer blade has an 11.75" diameter and no mounting holes; the Hobart O.E.M. number is 275913-1. The corresponding sharpening and truing stones for this blade are stone models 1612 sw (sharpening stone) and 1612 t (truing stone. Note: always replace the stones when installing a new blade and always have your slicer knives installed by a certified service technician. Installation of a new slicer knife may necessitate the replacement of slicer shims, bearings and other components in order to prevent "blade wobble.".
