This dispenser's boiler tank is high-quality stainless steel and the unit heats the beverages in a double boiler or "bain marie" heating system. The bain marie gently and gradually brings up the temperature of the materials and keeps them hot. This system, combined with the unit's continuous stirring feature, helps generate a hot, smooth portion of hot chocolate cup after cup, with remarkable consistency. Later, after many long hours of use, some lumps do develop in your chocolate, the HCD-5's anti-clogging faucet helps to keep the beverages (and the good times) flowing.
